Tegucigalpa, July 1, 2020. With the aim of promoting joint development actions in Honduras in the fields of education, social housing, culture and sports, among others, a cooperation agreement was signed today between the Government of Honduras and the Eud International Foundation C.I.C. established in London.
The signing of the agreement, signed in the form of a memorandum of understanding, was formalized through a virtual meeting.
The Government of Honduras was represented by Héctor Leonel Ayala, head of the Ministry of the Interior, Justice and Decentralization, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Norma Cerrato, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
On behalf of the International Eud Foundation, a Community Interest Company (CIC) established in London on December 8, 2010, its director, Pasqualina Cozzolino, signed the agreement.
"We are very honored to be honorary witnesses of this memorandum, where we disseminate solidarity values, by uniting the efforts of our Government and the Eud International Foundation C.I.C. , with the purpose of positively promoting joint actions that benefit Honduras and the movement for world peace,” Deputy Prime Minister Norma Cerrato said.
"Mrs. Pasqualina Cozzolino, I express my gratitude for your willingness to join our desire to work every day to improve the living conditions of our people on my beloved land, expanding development possibilities in a strategic and continuous alliance", he added.
In this sense, Ayala stressed the beginning of the link between the parties signing the cooperation agreement.
He said: “It will allow us to consolidate local governments, fight hunger and poverty and seek economic and social opportunities for our people”.
Ciro Ferraro, financial director of the Eud International Foundation C.I.C , thanked the Government of Honduras for giving him the opportunity to contribute to the economic development of Honduras and together with the government and people promote the project of social capitalism, one of the pillars of that organization. that seeks to reduce poverty gaps.
David San Vicente Montero and Cristina Sampieri, representatives of Avering SL, a financial manager, also participated in this event.
The document was validly delivered to the parties signing it and its formalization reached its peak today with Minister Ayala's signature.
